Supermodel Gigi Hadid has enlisted Moroccan-Italian model Malika El-Maslouhi, alongside her sister Bella Hadid, to present the launch of her brand’s first denim collection. The new line debuts under Hadid’s knitwear label, Guest in Residence, marking the label’s expansion beyond its original focus on cashmere knitwear.

The collection, unveiled in a campaign released in August, includes four denim styles designed in collaboration with U.S. denim designer Benjamin Talley Smith, who has worked with brands such as Khaite, Madewell, and Rag & Bone. The silhouettes feature a range of fits: the Traveler, a high-waisted wide leg; the Everyday, a relaxed straight leg; the Weekender, characterized by a tapered cut with a raw hem; and the Workday, a carpenter style accented with double-knee patches and a hammer loop.

Hadid, who founded Guest in Residence in 2022 and oversees its creative direction, described denim as a core component of her personal style, pairing it with cashmere as a signature look. The brand operates physical stores in New York and Los Angeles, alongside an online platform and wholesale partnerships.

The campaign visuals incorporate a cowgirl theme and feature Bella Hadid prominently, while Malika El-Maslouhi appears in studio shots alongside Gigi Hadid. El-Maslouhi, born in Milan to a Moroccan father and an Italian mother, began modeling at 18 and has since established an international career. She has walked for major fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, Valentino, and Jacquemus across leading fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.

Her runway experience also includes brands like Ulla Johnson, Prabal Gurung, David Koma, Boss, Missoni, and Messika. Beyond the runway, El-Maslouhi has featured in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Off-White, and Lanvin, building a diverse portfolio in both luxury and contemporary fashion. In 2022, she was recognized as Model of the Year in Italy.
