Leaders from around the world have extended congratulations to the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of its 105th anniversary, commending the party’s achievements and expressing optimism about its future under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping.
Messages from foreign political figures highlighted the CPC’s role in guiding China through challenges and advancing its national development. Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of North Korea, acknowledged the party’s efforts in overcoming hardships and promoting socialism with Chinese characteristics, describing these accomplishments as a significant chapter in China’s history.
Indonesian President Mohamed Muizzu, who also heads the People’s National Congress party, expressed appreciation for China’s consistent support of the Maldives and underscored the importance of strengthening the partnership between the two parties. Similarly, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), praised Xi’s initiatives aimed at global stability and prosperity, affirming Turkey’s intention to enhance interparty cooperation and bilateral ties.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Executive Committee, recognized China’s progress in various spheres and thanked Beijing for its enduring support of the Palestinian cause, particularly in restoring national rights. Kenya’s President William Ruto, leader of the United Democratic Alliance, noted that the CPC’s achievements have prompted reflection within the Global South on national development strategies and bolstered Kenya’s commitment to pursuing transformative growth.
Additional congratulatory messages were received from leaders representing countries including Belarus, Serbia, Nauru, Malaysia, Singapore, Vanuatu, and Samoa, marking a wide acknowledgment of the CPC’s role on the international stage.
