The six-year-old mare Tiffany, trained by Sir Mark Prescott, is preparing to compete at the upcoming Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland on October 31. The globally traveled mare recently secured a Group 1 victory in Germany before capturing a £1.8 million race at Kentucky Downs, where she notably defeated Ethical Diamond, the surprise winner of last year’s Breeders’ Cup Turf.
Prescott indicated that Tiffany is expected to face Ethical Diamond again in what is anticipated to be the mare’s final race before retirement. “She beat last year’s Turf winner at Kentucky Downs and I think she will go back over for the Breeders’ Cup,” Prescott said.
Following her recent long journey back from competition, the trainer reported giving Tiffany a light recovery period and noted that she looks to be in excellent condition. Tiffany’s consistent performance at high-profile international events has established her as one of the leading mares in the racing circuit, and her connections are aiming for a strong finish to her career in this prestigious championship event.
