Crystal Palace have secured the signing of 19-year-old winger Zavier Gozo from Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake in a deal reportedly worth £11 million. The US youth international has agreed to a five-year contract with the Premier League club as they prepare for another European campaign.

Real Salt Lake confirmed the move and noted that they will retain a significant percentage of any future transfer fee associated with Gozo. The MLS team also highlighted that Gozo is the first player native to Utah to join a Premier League club.

Crystal Palace, who are the reigning Conference League champions, are set to begin their domestic season away at Everton this Saturday. The club will also compete in the second-tier UEFA Europa League this season, with the draw for the group stage scheduled to take place next week in Monaco.
