A 65-year-old woman from Weihai city in Shandong province has gained attention for sharing a unique hobby with her son and grandson: skateboarding. The grandmother, her 43-year-old son, and 14-year-old grandson regularly skate together in a local public park, where their performances have drawn admiration from younger skateboarders.

According to the son, his mother has been practicing skateboarding for over three years. While her skillful maneuvers appear effortless to onlookers, he emphasized that her abilities are the product of sustained effort and dedication. “What they are seeing is the result of time and practice,” he said.

Videos capturing the three generations skating side by side went viral online, highlighting not only their proficiency but also the meaningful family bonding the shared activity provides.

In a separate incident reported in Kuala Lumpur, a 15-year-old boy was assaulted by five youths in Bukit Jalil on August 26. The assailants, aged between 16 and 20, reportedly tried to coerce the teenager into joining their group. When he refused, they allegedly attacked him. The victim’s girlfriend accompanied him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that a police report was filed and all five suspects have been detained.
