Sri Ternak Group has inaugurated its first 24-hour wholesale and grocery supermarket in Johor, marking the company's initial entry into the state’s retail market. The outlet, branded as ST Rosyam Mart, opened at Paragon Market Place in Tampoi, a strategic location selected due to its sizeable market and residential population estimated at around 500,000.

The launch event took place on September 16, 2026, with local actor and ST Rosyam Mart director Datuk Rosyam Nor, whose real name is Mohamed Noor Shamsuddin, highlighting Johor’s significant growth potential. “With about 4.22 million people in Johor, the number is too big to ignore,” he said, emphasizing the company’s ambition to expand its reach within the state.

Sri Ternak Group has outlined plans to open an additional nine wholesale and retail supermarkets across Johor over the next five years. The new Tampoi outlet spans 22,000 square feet and represents an investment of RM25 million. It has generated approximately 400 new jobs, underscoring the group's commitment to local employment.

The event was attended by notable figures including P. Pannir Selvam, chairman of Johor's unity, heritage and culture committee; Sri Ternak Group CEO Datuk Raymond Ho; group executive director Allan Ho; group director William Ho; and representatives from Joland Group, co-developer of Paragon Market Place through a joint venture with Kuopacific Group.

Datuk Raymond Ho noted that the 24-hour operating model will cater especially to Malaysian workers in Singapore, many of whom work night shifts and finish their shifts in the early morning hours, offering convenient shopping options outside regular business hours. He also pointed out that the supermarket provides a platform for vendors, particularly small and medium enterprises, to supply products across the company’s outlets.

The supermarket features over 40 in-house brands, designed to offer customers a range of affordable options. Looking ahead, Sri Ternak Group aims to develop shopping malls with ST Rosyam Mart as the anchor tenant, as well as to pursue a public listing. These plans reflect the group’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the region’s retail sector.
