Rain forced the postponement of Game 4 of the American League Championship Series, pushing the contest to Saturday. The game will feature the Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Nick Martinez, while the Cleveland Guardians are expected to rely on reliever Shawn Armstrong. Armstrong has been effective this postseason, not allowing a run over 5 1/3 innings of relief work.

The two-time defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers were eliminated from the playoffs following a strong performance by the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers exited the postseason earlier than anticipated, marking a disappointing end to their campaign. Meanwhile, the Guardians continue to advance, maintaining momentum in the series against the Rays.
