Gulf News has recognised over 20 of its top newspaper distributors for their exemplary performance during the 2026 subscription campaign, underscoring the publication’s ongoing commitment to delivering trusted journalism across the United Arab Emirates. The annual campaign, conducted from January to June, aims to attract new subscribers through value-driven offers while acknowledging the critical role of the distribution team in ensuring timely delivery.

The awards ceremony took place on August 3 at the Gulf News headquarters in Dubai, where certificates of appreciation were presented to distributors who met or exceeded their subscription targets. Every distributor involved in the campaign achieved their assigned goals, with several surpassing expectations significantly.

The distributors, affectionately known as GN news boys, have faced various challenges in fulfilling their responsibilities, yet their dedication to reaching readers throughout the UAE has remained steadfast. Their success highlights the importance of a reliable distribution network in maintaining the newspaper’s daily presence in homes and businesses.

Vijay Vaghela, CEO of Gulf News, commended the efforts of the circulation team, emphasising their commitment to delivering the newspaper and its supplements efficiently despite obstacles encountered. “We have an amazing and dedicated distribution team that remains focused on ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our premium newspaper and supplements to our readers no matter what challenges they face,” Vaghela said. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the distribution staff and acknowledged their significant contribution.

Potru Raju, Director of Circulation Sales & Distribution, also congratulated the GN news boys on their performance, noting their resilience amid unprecedented circumstances. He extended thanks to both the distributors and the readers, as well as to the partners supporting the Gulf News subscription campaign.

This annual recognition underlines the essential partnership between the newspaper, its distribution workforce, and its readership in sustaining Gulf News’ position as a leading source of news in the UAE.
