A second, shorter message arrived on February 6, in which the sender asserted that Nancy Guthrie had died. Both notes exhibit similar linguistic traits, including distinctive word choice, syntax, and phraseology, according to the sheriff’s office, which is examining these patterns as part of the ongoing effort to identify the author.
