Hanley Town secured a 2-0 victory over Coleshill Town at Potteries Park, with goals coming in both halves to extend their advantage. Callum Middleton opened the scoring around the 30-minute mark, capitalizing on a loose ball in the penalty area to put Hanley ahead.

Despite increasing their attacking efforts after the break, Coleshill were unable to mount a sustained challenge. The visitors’ goalkeeper, Lucas Knight, on loan from Stoke City, played a crucial role in preserving the clean sheet on his first start for the club. Knight made several key saves, including an outstanding one-handed stop near the post with just 11 minutes remaining, and tipped a shot over the crossbar as Coleshill pressed for a goal late in the match.

Jake Twyford sealed the win for Hanley Town during stoppage time, effectively ending Coleshill’s hopes of a comeback. The result leaves Coleshill, managed by Harry Harris, struggling near the bottom of the table and also eliminated from both cup competitions this season.
