He pointed to multiple missing players and the adaptation period required for several recent signings as key factors behind Burnley’s difficulties.
The defeat at Swansea was marked by two critical Burnley errors that allowed Adam Idah and Moussa Yeo to give host side Swansea a commanding lead before halftime. Although Largie Ramazani reduced the deficit, substitute Zan Vipotnik scored late to confirm Swansea’s victory.
Derby County manager John Eustace provided an update on Henrik Meister after the midfielder sustained a head injury during their 2-1 home loss to Birmingham City.
