KUWAIT CITY — Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of Kuwait’s Health Ministry, conducted an inspection of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defense and Radiation Monitoring on Tuesday. The center operates under the National Guard and is responsible for overseeing radiation levels and hazardous materials across Kuwait.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Sabah received a detailed briefing on the center’s infrastructure, including its network of monitoring stations positioned throughout Kuwait’s land territory and territorial waters. These stations play a key role in the detection and management of chemical and radiological threats.

Officials from the National Guard emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration with the Health Ministry to improve health and safety measures related to chemical and radiation hazards. They highlighted the need for continued information exchange and joint expertise development to strengthen national preparedness and response capabilities.
