Hannah Fry, the mathematician and contestant on the reality series Celebrity Traitors, found herself under intense scrutiny after being recruited as a Traitor during the latest round of the competition. At 42 years old, Fry had previously been considered a suspect in a staged murder event on the show alongside fellow contestant Jerry, but attention quickly refocused on her following her new role.

James Blunt, another participant, had already been suspicious of Fry’s actions, and comedian Miranda Hart has since joined in questioning her trustworthiness. Hart noted that she observed a distinct change in Fry’s demeanor, describing a new level of nervousness that suggested something had shifted. Comedian Joanne McNally echoed this sentiment, suggesting that Fry had decisively joined the game's more deceitful camp.

Fry expressed initial uncertainty when she was invited to join the Traitors, reflecting on how she would explain the situation to others. However, upon entering the turret—a designated location where Traitors convene—and meeting fellow Traitors Maya and James, she felt elated. She referred to them enthusiastically as “absolute legends,” indicating her surprise and pleasure at the familiar company.

James, who is part of the Traitor team, humorously remarked that after hosting multiple groups over three days of filming, the turret had become reminiscent of a musical group known for frequent lineup changes. Meanwhile, Maya, 32, expressed optimism about Fry’s involvement, noting that Fry’s background in mathematics might give her an advantage in maintaining composure, contrasting her performance with that of a previous Traitor, Richard.

Despite describing the transition to her new role as “so stressful,” Fry managed to maintain her guise effectively, fooling the other contestants into believing she remained faithful to the group. The show continues to air, with the latest episode scheduled to broadcast at 8 p.m. on BBC One.
