Several governorates in Oman experienced moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and hail on Tuesday, officials reported. The affected areas include Al Dakhiliyah, Al Batinah North, Al Batinah South, and Al Dhahirah, as the country remains under the influence of a low-pressure trough.

In Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, the Wilayat of Samayil saw particularly intense weather conditions. Heavy rains combined with hail and thunderstorms struck Tawi Al Nas and surrounding locations, resulting in the overflow of Wadi Saqt. Authorities are monitoring the situation as rainfall is expected to continue through Friday.

The extended precipitation is part of a broader weather pattern linked to the current low-pressure system moving across the region. Residents in the affected governorates have been advised to take necessary precautions due to the risk of flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
