HEC Paris in Doha has enrolled 44 professionals in its 2026 Executive MBA – Emerging Leaders Track (ELT), drawing participants from a wide range of industries both within Qatar and internationally. The cohort is predominantly Qatari, with nationals accounting for 84% of the group, and women representing 68%, reflecting the institution’s focus on fostering human capital aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The ELT program is designed to prepare emerging business leaders to contribute to the diversification and knowledge-based economic development of Qatar and the wider region. By combining rigorous management education with an emphasis on the regional business context, the program aims to enhance participants’ strategic thinking, leadership skills, and management capabilities, equipping them to assume higher levels of responsibility and support organizational transformation.

Participants in the 2026 cohort come from a diverse set of sectors including government, technology, education, finance, aviation, energy, and healthcare. This variety offers opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and exposure to a spectrum of challenges faced by organizations across different industries.

Joshua Kobb, chief growth and impact officer at HEC Paris Doha, emphasized the importance of such diversity in meeting Qatar’s economic goals. He noted that the country’s push for economic diversification is opening new opportunities across established and emerging fields, highlighting the need for leaders who can innovate and convert ideas into tangible business results. The interaction among professionals from different sectors, he said, fosters the exchange of experiences and challenges conventional practices, which can accelerate organizational and economic development.

The Executive MBA – Emerging Leaders Track is delivered part-time and with flexibility to accommodate working professionals. The curriculum integrates core management subjects with applied learning experiences, aiming to help students apply their new knowledge to real-world problems and navigate the complexities of contemporary organizational environments.
