A senior member of the Hells Angels Sydney chapter and an associate have been charged in connection with the alleged assault of a delivery driver at a luxury apartment complex in Pyrmont, Sydney. The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 11:40 a.m. when the delivery worker, 34, arrived to deliver a refrigerator to the apartment of Shayan Jaberiynfar, 33, who serves as the vice-president of the local Hells Angels chapter.

Police say Jaberiynfar and 27-year-old Mustafa Mohammed confronted the delivery man, leading to an argument of unclear origin. It is alleged that the two men followed the delivery worker into an elevator and assaulted him multiple times, reportedly armed with knives.

NSW Police’s State Crime Command Raptor Squad, a unit dedicated to targeting bikie gangs and organized crime, responded to calls about the altercation around 1 p.m. Following the incident, officers conducted a search of the apartment and reportedly seized a large kitchen knife, approximately 200 grams of gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), 14 Valium tablets, an encrypted mobile phone, and 565 grams of a white powder substance. Law enforcement also confiscated a significant collection of Hells Angels-branded clothing and memorabilia.

Jaberiynfar applied for bail, but the request was denied. Both he and Mohammed are scheduled to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on July 21. Authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault and the items seized during the search.
