Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung on Thursday, delivered through His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The message was handed over during a meeting between Sayyid Theyazin and Kang Hoon-Sik, Chief of Staff to the South Korean President and his envoy.
The discussions centered on the ongoing cooperation and partnership between Oman and South Korea in various economic and investment sectors. Both parties explored potential avenues to enhance bilateral collaboration that would benefit the strategic interests of both nations.
The meeting, held in Muscat, was attended by Dr. Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Economic Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at Oman’s Foreign Ministry. The officials underscored the importance of strengthening economic ties and expressed a commitment to advancing joint initiatives across multiple fields.
