Diggerland, a construction machinery-themed amusement park, continues to attract families with its unique blend of rides and interactive experiences centered entirely around diggers and other heavy equipment. Since its inception, the brand has expanded to three additional locations in Devon, Durham, and Yorkshire.
The Kent park offers around 20 main rides and activities included in the admission price, with additional attractions such as dodgem cars and quad bikes available on site. One of the park’s signature rides, Spin Dizzy, elevates visitors up to 50 feet in the bucket of a large excavator, providing a panoramic view and a distinctive thrill not found in conventional amusement parks.

Mini diggers such as the Komatsu PC14 allow younger visitors to “dig for gold,” and the Skyshuttle ride offers a 50-foot vertical lift for an added experience.
Among the more novel attractions for children is the opportunity to drive a decommissioned police car, complete with functioning pedals and controls, on a dirt track. This experience has been noted as especially popular, providing young visitors with a taste of driving responsibilities in a controlled setting.
In addition to machinery-based activities, the park features amenities aimed at younger children, including a soft play area and tricycle circuit, as well as facilities that appeal to adults. Diggerland also markets itself as a venue suitable for events such as stag and hen parties, offering an onsite cafe with a selection of cocktails and beers uncommon at typical theme parks.
Admission prices at Diggerland Kent start at £25.95 per person when booked in advance, rising to £39.50 at the gate for visitors over 90cm in height. Children under 90cm are admitted free. Special offers, such as two-for-one tickets through membership clubs, are available seasonally.
