Howard Stern has prevailed in a legal dispute brought by his former assistant, Leslie Kuhn, who accused him and his wife, Beth Stern, of fostering a hostile work environment. The case centered on allegations that Stern’s production company, One Twelve, had forged nondisclosure agreements bearing Kuhn’s name during her employment.

Kuhn, who served as an executive assistant for the Sterns from 2022 until her dismissal in February 2026, claimed that her email account had been compromised in May 2025. Despite this, court documents reveal that an email sent from her account contained the message, “Signed NDA attached,” including her electronic signature. A judge dismissed the forging claim as “a bald assertion,” indicating a lack of supporting evidence.

Howard Stern referred to the lawsuit in court filings as “a thinly veiled attempted shakedown.” Representatives for the Sterns did not respond to requests for comment.

The legal ruling marks a significant development in the dispute between Stern and his former assistant, rejecting the allegations of document tampering and affirming the validity of the nondisclosure agreements in question.
