HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (HSSI), an associate of HSS Engineers Bhd, has secured a contract worth approximately RM11 million for upgrading works on sewage water treatment plants in Negri Sembilan and Melaka. The appointment was confirmed by Sutracom Sdn Bhd, the main contractor responsible for the Package UP-3 proposed design and build project for Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd.

The contract, valued at RM10.95 million, covers a 42-month period beginning September 28, 2026. Under the terms of the agreement, HSSI will provide civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering consultancy services, along with construction site supervision throughout the project duration.

Funding for the project is expected to be sourced through a combination of internally generated funds and external borrowings. The contract is anticipated to contribute positively to the financial results of HSS Engineers Bhd for the fiscal years from 2026 through 2030.

The upgrade is part of Indah Water Konsortium’s ongoing efforts to enhance its sewage treatment infrastructure in the two states, aiming to improve operational efficiency and environmental management.
