Hull City has submitted an improved £22.3 million offer for Emersonn, the 21-year-old Brazilian striker currently playing for Ligue 1 club Toulouse. This marks an increase from their initial £17.3 million bid, which was previously rejected by the French side. Hull, recently promoted to the Championship, face competition for the forward from Ipswich Town, another newly promoted club.

Emersonn has attracted interest due to his performances in Ligue 1, prompting Hull to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season. Despite the higher proposal, it remains uncertain whether Toulouse will accept the improved offer.

In addition to pursuing Emersonn, Hull City may renew their interest in Watford’s Nestory Irankunda, a 20-year-old Australian forward who has been valued at around £25 million. Their earlier £10 million bid for Irankunda was turned down, but the club might return with an enhanced approach as they look to strengthen their squad.
