Police are conducting a search for a woman following the discovery of her colleague’s body in Tsim Sha Tsui early Sunday morning. The deceased, a 49-year-old man, was found seated on a chair outside a commercial building in a motorcycle parking area near K11 Art Mall.

Authorities received a report at approximately 1:40 a.m. about an unconscious man in the location, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. The cause of death remains undetermined pending an autopsy.

A 28-year-old male bar employee was arrested in connection with the case and charged with unlawful burial of a body, running a drug den, and failing to present proof of identity. The man initially claimed he was a passer-by but later admitted to police that he and the sought-after woman, who also worked at the bar, moved the deceased from a toilet cubicle inside the establishment to the motorcycle parking area outside K11 Art Mall. The bar is located on Carnarvon Road.

During the investigation, officers seized approximately 50 grams of suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and about HK$82,000 in cash from the bar premises. The police described the woman as being in her thirties, approximately 1.6 meters tall, with a slim build and long black hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black T-shirt, black trousers, and a white cap.

A forensic pathologist who examined the body at the scene noted early signs of rigor mortis, indicating that death had occurred some time before the body was found. Police continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death and the whereabouts of the woman.
