John Hunt is set to complete a 120-mile charity walk tomorrow, concluding a journey that began last Saturday from his family home in Hertfordshire. Accompanied by his daughter Amy and her partner Gareth Jones, Hunt has undertaken the walk to raise funds for the Hunt Family Fund, established in memory of his wife Carol and their daughters Hannah and Louise, who were killed in July 2024.

The charity aims to combat male violence against women and promote the empowerment of women’s lives. Throughout the walk, the initiative has garnered significant public support, raising £85,000 to date. Hunt expressed his gratitude for the response, describing it as “truly humbling,” and expressed hope that the total amount raised could reach £100,000.

The final stage of the walk will see Hunt and his companions cover 17 miles to Bournemouth, marking the end of the fundraising effort. The public is encouraged to contribute to the cause through an online donation platform.
