Multiple players from the Minnesota Twins will share an unusual milestone this off-season: all four have scheduled their weddings on the same day. Ryan Kreidler, Cole Sands, Luke Keaschall, and Brooks Lee are set to marry on November 14, 2026, creating a unique challenge for teammates and friends who must decide which ceremonies to attend.

Kreidler, who joined the team in October 2025, discovered the coincidence after learning several teammates had plans to marry on the same November weekend. Upon joining spring training in February, he found the clubhouse frequently buzzing with wedding discussions. Despite being a newer member, Kreidler soon realized he would be part of a rare gathering of Twins players exchanging vows simultaneously.

This convergence highlights a broader trend within professional baseball. Because of the sport’s demanding schedule, players have limited windows for personal events like weddings. The Major League Baseball regular season extends from late March through late September, with few days off, especially on weekends. Additionally, players avoid scheduling weddings during the postseason in October, viewing it as potential “bad juju,” according to Kreidler.

These constraints narrow feasible wedding dates largely to early November. December and January pose challenges due to weather, holiday obligations, and players’ off-season training routines. February and later months coincide with spring training preparation, making them unviable for weddings.

“For baseball players, there are only a handful of good weekends,” Kreidler said, underscoring the difficulty in coordinating such significant life events around the season calendar.

The scheduling raises logistical hurdles for friends and teammates. Some players, like outfielder Trevor Larnach, who married the weekend before two years ago alongside fellow player Jhoan Duran, note the challenges in choosing which celebrations to attend. “How do you choose?” Larnach said. “What are the odds?” Both he and his twin brother, reliever Taylor Rogers, also have November weddings, signaling the popularity of this time frame within the team.

Two of the Twins, Keaschall and Lee, will hold their ceremonies in close proximity in Central California, even sharing the same catering service and agent, Adam Caron. Lee joked that Caron will likely attend Keaschall’s wedding first, then make his way to Lee’s celebration later that afternoon. Kreidler’s wedding will take place further south in Orange County, California, while Sands plans his ceremony in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida.

None of the four players have included current teammates in their wedding parties, an acknowledgment of the complexities their shared date will present for attendance. Kreidler recalled missing much of a bachelor party in Las Vegas during the 2025 post-season because the Twins’ extended run limited his availability.

Meanwhile, Twins manager Derek Shelton has responded with humor and support, promising to attend all four weddings and noting the challenge given his own anniversary celebration falls immediately afterward. Shelton joked that although he plans to enjoy the receptions’ open bars, he does not intend to overindulge due to prior commitments.

The recurring coincidence of multiple players marrying on the same weekend may be seen as a reflection of the professional baseball lifestyle, where scheduling is dictated as much by the calendar on the field as by personal milestones off it. For Kreidler, Sands, Keaschall, and Lee, November 14 will mark a shared chapter in both their professional and personal lives.
