Worn by runners who completed the London Marathon in under two hours, this model boasts an energy return rate close to 80 percent. However, it comes with limitations: the $500 shoes are intended exclusively for race day and are not designed for repeated use due to their specialized construction, which can increase the risk of discomfort or injury if worn frequently.
Users often report sensory feedback during use, such as feeling the air bubbles in the sole compress and rebound, which may influence stride and foot positioning. While some runners adapt their technique to maximize the shoes’ benefits, others remain uncertain about the optimal use of these features.
