Ibrahim Sangare has committed his future to Nottingham Forest by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2029. The Ivory Coast international midfielder joined Forest in September 2023 and has since made 77 appearances for the team. During the previous season, Sangare featured in 43 matches as Nottingham Forest advanced to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals.

At 28 years old, Sangare expressed gratitude toward the club’s supporters, acknowledging their continued backing throughout the campaign. “Last season wasn’t always easy but I’ve always felt their support. It has become a family for me,” he commented following the announcement.

Sangare’s decision to extend his stay reflects his integral role in the squad as Forest look to build on their recent European successes.
