A fire broke out in an ice cream van parked outside a residence in Slough, Berkshire, on Wednesday afternoon, leaving the vehicle severely damaged. Flames and thick black smoke were visible as the van was engulfed, with the heat causing its windows to shatter.

Firefighters responded promptly to the scene and worked for approximately 75 minutes to extinguish the blaze. The occupants of the house near the van sustained minor injuries, according to emergency personnel.

The cause of the fire has not been disclosed. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the incident. The ice cream van was left extensively damaged, reduced to a charred shell.
