Photographs obtained from U.S. military personnel reveal extensive damage to American military facilities in the Middle East following recent Iranian missile strikes. The undated images, shared on condition of anonymity, show a destroyed aircraft, severely damaged tents, and shredded trailers at bases located in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The Pentagon’s inspector general recently released a report outlining the aftermath of the conflict, detailing significant destruction of infrastructure and equipment at facilities under the control of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). According to the report, Iranian strikes inflicted heavy damage on hundreds of buildings and structures across multiple bases, while dozens of U.S. aircraft were either damaged or destroyed during the hostilities.

One service member described the situation as “major damage to our bases that hasn’t been communicated to the American public,” adding, “We’re standing there with our eyes closed getting punched in the face.”

The Department of Defense has estimated the total cost of the conflict at $33.4 billion as of June 29, a figure that excludes additional expenses related to repair and restoration of military infrastructure. CENTCOM, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, confirmed the widespread impact of the Iranian missile strikes, underscoring the scale of damage sustained by American forces in the region.
