A special court in Mumbai authorized the re-arrest of all 11 individuals accused in a shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The decision was made during a hearing on Wednesday, with the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) invoked against the suspects.
The Mumbai Police confirmed that permission to apply MCOCA provisions was granted under Section 23(1)(a) of the Act on October 27. Authorities stated that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
The incident occurred on the evening of October 18 in the Juhu area of Mumbai, when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club. The actor was unharmed, but his driver suffered injuries in the unprovoked attack.
Earlier in the week, the Esplanade Court in Mumbai had remanded four accused—identified as Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita—to police custody until October 28. These individuals were presented before the court a second time as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
The case remains under active investigation, with police continuing to gather evidence and question those involved. The invocation of MCOCA signals the authorities’ intent to treat the shooting as a serious organized crime offense.
