Authorities in Kuwait have referred an Indian expatriate to the Public Prosecution following the fatal stabbing of another Indian national in the Jahra area. The suspect, born in 1996, is accused of stabbing the victim, born in 1992, four times after a dispute reportedly linked to previous workplace conflicts.

The incident occurred in the morning at a farm in Abdali, according to a security source. The Ministry of Interior’s Operations Room received a report of a violent altercation, prompting security officers to respond quickly to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the victim had sustained multiple stab wounds and was deceased. Initial investigations indicated the suspect had fled the location.

Authorities launched a search operation that led to the arrest of the suspect at a farm where he had been hiding. During questioning, the suspect admitted to the stabbing, explaining that a disagreement between him and the victim, related to earlier workplace issues, had escalated into a physical confrontation.

The criminal investigations unit included the suspect’s confession and the knife believed to be the weapon used in the incident when referring the case to the Public Prosecution. Legal procedures are ongoing as the investigation continues.
