The registration for individual candidates wishing to take the December Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in Myanmar opened online on August 1, according to the JLPT Test Organizing Committee and the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA). Applicants must complete their pre-registration details before submitting their applications through the designated online system.

The registration period is scheduled to run continuously without interruption until 4:30 pm on August 7. This online system is mandatory for all first-time candidates, including novices, monks, nuns, and individuals under the age of 10. Candidates who secured slots for the July JLPT exam are not required to register again. However, those experiencing difficulties accessing their accounts have been advised to contact MAJA for support.

To ensure accuracy and avoid processing delays, each email address is limited to one registration and one application. Applicants are urged to enter their names and dates of birth carefully, as corrections can only be made during the designated correction period and require up to three days for approval. Modifications will not be permitted if there are inconsistencies between the submitted information and official identification documents. The organizers emphasized that candidates should personally complete their registration details.

Once registration is initiated, applicants will receive an activation code link via their personal email addresses to confirm their submission. The examination fees can be paid through local payment methods, including eCommerce-registered Myanmar Payment Union (MPU) cards and KBZ Pay QR codes, as outlined by the JLPT Test Organizing Committee and MAJA.
