Muscat – Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Oman’s Minister of Information, met on Wednesday with Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al Hazza, Director-General of the Gulf Radio and Television Organisation (GRTO), to discuss measures aimed at strengthening media collaboration among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperative efforts between the Ministry of Information and the Gulf Radio and Television Organisation to promote greater integration within Gulf media sectors. Both parties reviewed ongoing partnerships and explored ways to deepen joint initiatives in the production and dissemination of media content.

Key topics addressed included the exchange of expertise and experiences among media institutions across GCC states, as well as strategies to expand collaboration across various media programmes. The discussion emphasized the importance of adopting digital transformation and modern technologies to advance media operations and improve the quality of Gulf media content.
