The performance in Düsseldorf followed their recent concert at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, where Scherzinger appeared alongside bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt as part of their ongoing PCD Forever Tour. The group’s UK leg of the tour commenced with a show at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena and is scheduled to continue through cities including Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Manchester, concluding with a final show at London’s O2 Arena on October 13.

The Pussycat Dolls reunited earlier this year after previously disbanding in 2010. Their reunion tour was initially planned for 2019 but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in 2023, the group canceled most of their U.S. dates, reportedly because of poor ticket sales, with the exception of a performance at the WeHo Pride event in Los Angeles in June. The singer has faced previous criticism regarding her professional conduct; last year, she came under scrutiny for a delayed start to a Royal Albert Hall concert, where audience members reportedly waited nearly an hour as she posed for selfies. She also encountered reports of challenging behavior during her Broadway run in the musical Sunset Boulevard, for which she received a Tony Award.
