Several NFL teams are adjusting their lineups this week due to key injuries affecting multiple players across the league.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is expected to miss several games after re-aggravating a hamstring injury. Smith, 27, who had already missed time during training camp, played the first three games of the season, recording 19 receptions for 235 yards and one touchdown. However, he did not practice this week and has been ruled out for the Eagles’ Week 4 home game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The team’s depth at wide receiver is further strained as Marquise Brown remains sidelined with an ankle injury. Dontayvion Wicks is projected to step up as the primary target against the Rams.

The Green Bay Packers are awaiting the return of star edge rusher Micah Parsons, who tore his ACL last December. Parsons, a three-time All-Pro and 27 years old, is less than 10 months into his recovery following surgery and is not expected to play until November. He remains on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list but has reported no setbacks in his rehabilitation process so far.

The Indianapolis Colts announced that wide receiver Keenan Allen will not play in their upcoming game in London against the Washington Commanders. Allen, 34, who has dealt with a groin injury this season, was downgraded from questionable to out as the Colts prepare to activate wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad. Allen has compiled 13 catches for 100 yards and one touchdown in three games this season. Westbrook-Ikhine, 29, was also elevated from the practice squad for the Colts’ Week 3 win over the Houston Texans.

The Carolina Panthers placed wide receiver Xavier Legette on injured reserve due to a knee injury sustained in Week 2. The 25-year-old, a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks. Legette had a notable 55-yard reception against the Atlanta Falcons before the injury occurred and sat out Week 3’s loss to the Cleveland Browns. The Panthers face potential depth challenges at receiver for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, with leading receiver Jalen Coker listed as questionable with a quadriceps issue. The team also promoted wide receiver Ja’seem Reed from the practice squad; Reed, an undrafted player in 2025 out of San Diego, may make his NFL debut soon.

The Seattle Seahawks placed rookie running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve with a chest injury after missing Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Price, a first-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, suffered the injury in Week 2 at Arizona and reportedly aggravated it during practice earlier this week. He is expected to miss at least four games.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers elevated quarterback Easton Stick from the practice squad to serve as backup for Sunday’s home game against Green Bay. Stick will back up starting quarterback Jalon Daniels, an undrafted rookie from Kansas making his first career start. The Buccaneers’ regular starter, Baker Mayfield, remains sidelined with a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand.

These injury developments are forcing several teams to adjust their game-day rosters as they navigate the early stages of the 2026 NFL season.
