Dubai played host to an opulent Diwali celebration that brought together a blend of entertainment personalities, cultural flair, and lavish décor in a setting befitting the festival’s grandeur. The event took place recently at Trésind Dubai, where the city’s social elite gathered for an evening marked by elaborate displays and high-profile attendees.
The party was co-hosted by Farhana Bodi, known for her appearance on the Netflix reality series Dubai Bling, alongside Sakshi Nath of Trésind Dubai. Bodi’s attire—a jewel-encrusted off-shoulder corset paired with a voluminous midnight-blue skirt designed by Manish Malhotra—set a tone of luxury and elegance for the evening. She complemented her look with a diamond-encrusted necklace by Roberto Coin, presenting a silhouette reminiscent of a formal royal event.
Another familiar face from Dubai Bling, Lojain, also contributed to the celebrity presence. Dressed in a peach chiffon sari, she shared her appreciation for the Indian garment, emphasizing its grace and considering hosting her own Diwali gathering in the future.
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam added further star power to the event, highlighting the cross-cultural celebration that Diwali ceremonies in Dubai often embody. The dress code specified "Indian Glam," a directive that guests embraced fully, seen in an array of traditional saris, embellished kurtas, and accessories.
The venue was transformed into a lavish space featuring cascading white floral arrangements, gold-toned foliage, towering glass candleholders, and an elegantly set dining table that evoked the ambiance of a modern royal palace. Personal touches extended to the place cards, which carried regal titles such as "Maharani Manju," enhancing the immersive atmosphere.
Culinary offerings were provided by Trésind Dubai’s kitchen and were a significant aspect of the evening’s appeal. The cuisine underscored the party’s balance of extravagance and gastronomic sophistication, complementing the event’s overall grandeur.
Music throughout the night was highlighted by a DJ spinning popular Bollywood tracks, encouraging guests to engage in festive dancing. The event showcased Dubai’s continued affinity for combining cultural traditions with luxury, creating a festival experience that was as stylish as it was celebratory.
