Kuwait’s Interior Ministry carried out a security operation in Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City resulting in multiple arrests and citations, officials said. The campaign led to 127 traffic violation citations and the apprehension of 16 wanted individuals and absconders. In addition, 11 people without identification documents, eight violators of residency and labor laws, three street vendors, and one person found carrying narcotics were detained.
Authorities also arrested an individual in possession of alcohol and another requiring psychiatric evaluation. Two vehicles linked to judicial warrants were seized, and electricity was disconnected from three properties reportedly used as illegal accommodations for single men.
Separately, the ministry dismantled a locally run alcohol production and distribution network operating out of a three-story residence in the Rehab area. Security forces confiscated approximately 300 containers, each holding around 25 liters of alcoholic substances, alongside flammable materials that raised safety concerns for nearby homes. The operation involved close coordination with the Kuwait Fire Force, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and Kuwait Municipality to ensure the site was secured and violations addressed.
