Police have closed the investigation into a burglary at the Manchester mansion of television presenter Maya Jama and her then-partner, Manchester City defender Ruben Dias. The incident occurred in January while Jama, 32, was filming for Love Island South Africa and Dias, 29, was away with the football club competing in the Champions League.

According to authorities, a group of thieves stole jewellery and designer items from the couple's £4 million home during what has been described as an "away day" burglary. Following the break-in, the couple, who later separated in May, increased the property's security measures.

Cheshire Police indicated that the suspects are believed to have been foreign nationals who swiftly left the country after the theft. Despite ongoing efforts, investigators were unable to identify or apprehend the perpetrators. The case has now been closed, though police have stated that any new information received in the future will prompt a review of the investigation.
