Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, an Iranian national accused of orchestrating a series of antisemitic attacks in the United Kingdom, is alleged to have continued plotting acts of terrorism from a US detention facility. According to US authorities, Saadi has used coded language during prison phone calls to direct associates and manage over $1 million in funds intended to support violent activities.

Saadi, 32, is believed to have played a key role in the activities of Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (Hayi), a group suspected of acting as a front for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Hayi has been linked to nearly 20 attacks across Europe within a three-month period earlier this year. Among these incidents were several arson attacks targeting Jewish ambulances and synagogues in London during March and April, as well as a drone attack aimed at the Israeli embassy. The group also claimed responsibility for a stabbing at Golders Green in April.

US authorities have further accused Saadi of plotting attacks against Jewish congregations in the United States. Documents from the Department of Justice indicate that Saadi identified himself to FBI agents as a leader of "the resistance," which he described as including the IRGC and supporting proxy groups. The FBI asserts that Saadi has overseen the dissemination of propaganda videos designed to inspire followers of his violent ideology and conduct psychological warfare.

Saadi was arrested in Turkey in May and subsequently extradited to the United States, where he faces eight terrorism-related charges. His arrest followed investigations into coordinated antisemitic attacks across Britain and Europe. He is reported to have maintained close ties with senior Iranian officials during his activities.

Saadi is scheduled to stand trial in the near future, with US authorities continuing to monitor communications from detention for signs of ongoing criminal plotting. Investigations into the broader network linked to these attacks remain active as law enforcement agencies seek to prevent further acts of violence targeting Jewish communities in Europe and North America.
