Iranian forces launched a series of ballistic missiles targeting Israeli territory and the West Bank early Thursday, an assault that resulted in at least nine individuals sustaining injuries. The strike notably penetrated Israel's air defense systems, marking a significant breach.

Seven distinct salvos of ballistic missiles were detected traversing the airspace over Israel and the West Bank during the morning hours. Among the projectiles launched, some were reportedly equipped with cluster munitions.

One particular missile, identified as the second in the sequence of attacks, struck the central Israeli city of Kafr Qasim. This impact alone accounted for five of the reported injuries.

Visual documentation from the scene in Kafr Qasim captured the immediate moments before and after the strike. Footage depicted people and animals in the streets reacting to the incoming threat, scrambling for safety seconds before the impact. A parked vehicle was directly hit by the missile, causing it to be violently propelled and flipped, scattering shrapnel and debris across the surrounding area.

The incident is the latest in a series of missile attempts targeting Israel, with this occurrence being one of the more successful in breaching established aerial defenses and causing civilian casualties. The total number of injured persons stands at a minimum of nine across the affected regions.
