Australian actor Hugh Jackman has confirmed his intention to continue portraying the character Wolverine in Marvel films well into the future, potentially up to the age of 90. Jackman, 57, has embodied the iconic role across 11 movies since 2000, including appearances in the "Deadpool Vs Wolverine" crossover.
Despite expressing a desire to step away from the role following 2017’s critically acclaimed film "Logan," Jackman has since decided against retirement from the franchise. Reflecting on his previous announcements about leaving the character, he acknowledged the difficulty of stepping back, saying he has learned not to rule out future projects. He noted that each time he says he will not reprise the role, he eventually changes his mind, especially given the continued popularity and commercial success of the films.
Jackman’s enduring commitment to Wolverine underscores both the character’s lasting appeal and the actor’s connection to the role, which has become one of the defining elements of his career over more than two decades.
