Jahra Governor Hamad Al-Habashi conducted an inspection of Imam Al-Jawad Al-Taqi Husseiniya at Haya Abdulrahman Al-Jassem Intermediate School in Al-Qairawan on June 27 to evaluate the preparations and security arrangements ahead of Ashoura observances. The visit aimed to ensure that organizational and safety measures meet the demands of the expected large gatherings during the month of Muharram.

Al-Habashi’s inspection forms part of broader efforts across the governorate to oversee facilities that serve significant numbers of citizens during religious events. Key focuses included the availability of essential services, management of entry and exit points, and the regulation of traffic flow to prevent congestion and enhance public safety.

Highlighting the importance of inter-agency cooperation, the governor stressed ongoing coordination between relevant authorities to elevate readiness levels at venues hosting worshippers. He reiterated that Jahra Governorate remains committed to facilitating a secure, orderly, and well-managed environment for those participating in Muharram rituals.
