KUWAIT CITY — The Public Services Committee of the Jahra Governorate Council convened its regular meeting on October 3 at the governorate headquarters, with Eng Yousef Al-Bithali presiding. The session brought together committee members alongside representatives from various government entities, including the Traffic Engineering Sector, Ministry of Public Works, Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Kuwait Municipality, General Traffic Department, and Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.

Discussions during the meeting focused on ongoing service files, infrastructure projects, prior procedures, and identified needs relating to public services within Jahra Governorate. The committee reviewed recent developments and examined recommendations and observations aimed at enhancing service delivery to residents.

Emphasis was placed on the necessity of maintaining close coordination among the involved authorities. Committee members called for an expedited approach to addressing outstanding observations and following up on service matters to improve the quality and efficiency of infrastructure and public services in the governorate.

In closing, the committee issued multiple recommendations and tasked the relevant government agencies with overseeing their implementation, ensuring continued collaboration to meet the needs of Jahra’s population.
