Jaiden Bartolo scored a hat-trick as Salisbury secured a commanding victory over Hampton and Richmond Borough in a dominant performance on Saturday. The match featured early chances for Salisbury, with Ollie Morgan narrowly missing a left-footed strike just over the crossbar in the 13th minute. Shortly after, Robbie Gallagher came close to scoring following a low cross from Bartolo that deflected off Hampton defender Nathan Odokonyero but was ultimately blocked for a corner.

Odokonyero then gave Salisbury the lead in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on his position to put the home side ahead. Early in the second half, Odokonyero nearly doubled his tally after a defensive error by Hampton allowed him to get around the goalkeeper, but his shot struck the post. Salisbury extended their advantage in the 56th minute when Bartolo converted a pass from Gallagher, who found him in open space. Bartolo took three touches before firing the ball past Hampton’s goalkeeper Patrick Nash.

Continuing his strong performance, Bartolo added a second goal in the 78th minute. Three minutes from time, substitute Josh Hedges provided an assist by setting up Bartolo to complete his hat-trick. Hedges himself found the net deep into injury time at the 96th minute, sealing a comprehensive victory for Salisbury.

The result showcased Salisbury’s attacking prowess and clinical finishing, as they comfortably controlled proceedings against Hampton and Richmond Borough throughout the match.
