British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has discussed the challenges that influenced his upcoming album, *Alamo*, which is scheduled for release on November 13. The 11-track project, his seventh studio album, includes the new single "Never Can Tell."

Reflecting on the creative process, Bugg described the past few years as difficult, noting that the album emerged from a period of personal reflection. He said that after years of touring and recording, he felt it was an appropriate moment to focus inward and embrace honesty in his music. Bugg acknowledged that he had often maintained emotional defenses but decided it was time to lower those barriers in order to make the album work.

In addition to releasing *Alamo*, Bugg plans to embark on a stripped-back tour in early 2027. The tour will begin on February 6 in Manchester and will include stops in Edinburgh, Sheffield, and Nottingham. Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale the following Friday.
