Gabriel, nicknamed "Kid Messi," was not selected for United’s Champions League opener against Sabah last Thursday. His absence was attributed to his exclusion from the club's "A list" squad, and he is ineligible for the "B list" until his 16th birthday on October 6. Following the match, United removed all references to Gabriel from the club’s Instagram account managed by his father, former footballer Joe O’Cearuill. Reports indicate that Gabriel has not participated in first-team training sessions under interim manager Michael Carrick in recent days.
Interest in Gabriel has reportedly escalated, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Real Madrid among the clubs monitoring the situation closely.
