Deputy District Judge Charles Crow was recorded speeding on three separate occasions between November 2023 and March 2024, according to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO). The offences resulted in a total of nine penalty points on his driving licence.

The JCIO stated that the speeding incidents occurred while Judge Crow was traveling to or from court and acknowledged that rushing was a contributing factor in the violations. The judge expressed remorse for his actions, apologizing and describing himself as “embarrassed” by the breaches. He also committed to making efforts to improve his punctuality.

The matter was handled through a private hearing, during which Judge Crow received formal advice for misconduct. The JCIO did not disclose the specific locations of the speeding incidents.
