Qatar’s Ministry of Justice has announced plans to launch “Tathmeen,” an artificial intelligence–powered real estate valuation tool developed in collaboration with Google. The program, unveiled during the fourth Qatar Real Estate Forum held alongside Cityscape at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, aims to enhance the accuracy and reliability of property value estimates through advanced technology.

“Tathmeen” is designed to provide more comprehensive and precise indicative valuations, supporting property owners, investors, and stakeholders in making well-informed decisions. The ministry emphasized that the initiative will improve accessibility to real estate information for individuals and businesses, increasing the efficiency of digital services within the property sector.

At the government pavilion during the forum, the Ministry of Justice highlighted several key digital services related to real estate. These include automated registration processes, property sales and ownership transfers, and the issuance of real estate residency permits in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, with the latter service processed immediately. The ministry’s booth also offered legal consultations and services connected to real estate transactions.

In addition, the Real Estate Brokerage Department conducted informational sessions on brokerage procedures, aiming to raise awareness about the Real Estate Brokerage Law and regulatory requirements. The sessions emphasized the importance of verifying that brokerage companies hold licenses to operate in accordance with established regulations.

The Ministry of Justice shared the government pavilion with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) and the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (Invest Qatar), working collectively to support Qatar’s real estate market through regulatory oversight and investment facilitation.

The rollout of the “Tathmeen” program reflects Qatar’s broader efforts to integrate smart technologies into public services and enhance the transparency and efficiency of its property sector. The ministry anticipates that the platform’s deployment in the near term will mark a significant step forward in real estate valuation and digital service provision.
