The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) announced that K-pop and pop singer Rosé will perform at its 15th annual Art + Film Gala on November 7. The event will take place in Los Angeles and will honor artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.
The gala is co-hosted by Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Chow described the event as a celebration of creative visionaries and the interplay among different artistic disciplines worldwide. She emphasized that Rosé, recognized as a global pop icon, will contribute significantly to the evening’s atmosphere through her distinctive talent and style.
Rosé rose to international prominence as a member of the K-pop group Blackpink, which debuted in 2016. In 2024, she released her solo studio album titled “Rosie,” further establishing her presence in the music industry.
The LACMA Art + Film Gala is an annual gathering that honors influential figures in both the visual arts and filmmaking sectors, aiming to highlight the creative connections across art forms. This year’s edition continues that tradition by featuring prominent honorees and high-profile performers.
