Kamilla Cardoso set a WNBA record by making all 13 of her field goal attempts while scoring a career-high 30 points to lead the Chicago Sky to a 124-94 victory over the Portland Fire on Sunday in Chicago. Cardoso’s perfect shooting performance established the most field goals made without a miss in league history. In addition to her offensive output, she contributed eight rebounds as the Sky improved to 5-12 on the season and secured consecutive wins for the first time since mid-May.

The Sky’s offensive attack was highlighted by a team shooting percentage of 66%, including 15 successful three-pointers on 28 attempts. Chicago opened the game strong, posting a 29-17 lead after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout. The team also surpassed its franchise record for points scored in a single game, with Jacy Sheldon driving in the record-breaking basket in the fourth quarter.

Sydney Taylor added 29 points for Chicago, marking her fourth game this season with at least 20 points. Among rookies, she ranks second in games with 20 or more points, trailing only Olivia Miles, who has achieved the feat seven times. Other notable contributors included Azura Stevens with 12 points, as well as Skylar Diggins and Courtney Vandersloot, who each scored 10. Vandersloot made her season debut after returning from injury.

For the visiting Portland Fire, Bridget Carleton led the team with 20 points, while Carla Leite contributed 18. Portland finished the game with nine successful three-pointers but was unable to keep pace with Chicago’s efficient offense. The Fire’s record moved to 8-10 following the loss as they continue to navigate their inaugural season.
