Karl Stefanovic has resolved a legal dispute with his podcast producer by purchasing her stake in their joint venture, thereby avoiding a court confrontation. The television presenter and podcaster was scheduled to appear in court next week after his business partner and co-owner, Keshnee Kemp Ibrahim, filed an urgent injunction to prevent him from removing her from their enterprise.
Both Stefanovic and Kemp Ibrahim each held a 45 percent share in 123 Podcast, a production company established earlier this year to produce The Karl Stefanovic Show. The dispute emerged amid broader professional challenges for Stefanovic, who was recently dismissed by Nine Entertainment and the Today show following his interview with British far-right figure Tommy Robinson, also known as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.
A spokesman for Stefanovic confirmed that the presenter had acquired Kemp Ibrahim’s shares for a confidential sum. The Australian Financial Review reported that the payment reflected a fair market value established through an independent valuation. Kemp Ibrahim’s representatives declined to comment on the matter.
This development ends a contentious relationship between the two partners, which had threatened to become a public legal battle. The resolution allows Stefanovic sole ownership of the podcast production company, enabling him to continue developing his media projects without further internal disputes.
